Seventy Hensley Mbanaso Memorial

Brother Hensley Mbanaso of Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria, was born December 13, 1956, and passed this life for a better life on July 1, 2018, at the age of 61. Brother Hensley had been in poor health for some time.

Brother Hensley was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints on December 13, 1976. He was first ordained in 1980 and completed his service to his Master as a Seventy.

Brother Hensley leaves behind his wife Gloria, and five children, George, Annece, Maryann, Julia, William and a large extended family. He will be remembered by many, many friends of the Faith for his ministry over the years and a beautiful voice raised in songs of Praise.

There is a memorial fund set up for Brother Hensley's family. Anyone who wishes to contribute to this fund may send checks to:

Funds will be forwarded to Brother Hensley's Family no later than July 20, 2018, from

THE SAINTS OF THE UNITED STATES.

Passing of Seventy George Knotts

George Clark Knotts, age 86, died peacefully in his home on February 13, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 10:00am at the Community of Christ Church, 531 W Main, Lamoni Iowa.


George was born in a log cabin in Oklahoma in 1931 to Charles and OLola (Clark) Knotts.  George loved his family, KU Jayhawks, cheering for the Graceland University Women's Soccer team and most importantly serving Jesus Christ.


He is survived by his beloved wife, Beth; his five children, Dan (& Susan) Knotts, Stretch Knotts, and Deb (& Shane) Skinner of Lamoni, Iowa; John Knotts of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, and Ruth (& Michael) Seagraves of Sacramento, California; his grandchildren: Caleb Knotts of Eugene, Oregon; Jordan Knotts and Samantha Skinner of Lamoni; Georgia, Maya, and Kendra Seagraves of Sacramento; and niece, Leah Anderson of Vinita, Oklahoma.
